Fabiana Parano has created and performs STORIES IN A BAG. An English teacher, a storyteller, an actress and a writer, Ms. Parano has majored in Storytelling both in English and Spanish, has worked on character sketching, mimicry acting, clown, masks and physical theatre.
Ms Parano holds a degree in “El Juego en Contextos Educativos” (2016, ENS N°4)
She teaches Storytelling in the Classroom at IES en Lenguas Vivas “Juan Ramón Fernández” and at CePA (Escuela de Maestros, Gob. de la Ciudad). She has also taught Pensamiento Narrador 1 at Estudio de Narración Ana M Bovo. .
Her experience includes telling tales to all kinds of audiences in a foreign language situation. To this end, she has delivered performances and presentations throughout the country and abroad, at various schools, institutes and conferences.
Fabiana is the author of STORIES IN MOTION, A Teacher’s Resource Booklet for the Beginning Storyteller (2010) and of STORIES TO BUILD EMOTIONAL LITERACY (2011).
Probably, Fabiana Parano’s largest creation is: STORIES IN A BAG PHYSICAL THEATRE COMPANY. As Head of this company, she writes, produces and performs several plays for children and teens. All these shows include acrobatics and dancing as well acting and active audience participation through games. Her plays are the following: STORIES, TWIRLS & SWIRLS (2012), THE BULLYING CLOWN (2014), MONKEY’S BIRTHDAY SURPRISE (2015), SUPERHEORES (2016) and CAT, MOUSE & HOPSCOTCH (2017).
